However, whilst you are deciding whether to keep your purchases, you do have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods. Therefore, please do not use or damage the items whilst you inspect them. Do not try them in an environment that might make them dirty (e.g. in the garden). We ask that all packaging is kept for a time until you are satisfied with the item - packing will be essential for any return especially petrol powered products where a courier will not collect any unbox item. We are unable to provide replacement boxes so please do keep the packaging.
It is your responsibility to fully inspect the item upon delivery before first use, that the item you have purchased is to your satisfaction and therefore fit for purpose. Should you notice a fault or defect with any product or find that there are missing components, please contact us immediately. Any claims for goods damaged on delivery should me made with 7 days. We are unable to provide replacements for goods claimed to be damaged on delivery outside of this period. Failing to contact us at this early stage could affect your return/warranty entitlements.
All returns must be returned in a re-saleable condition complete with all original packaging and labels, undamaged and unused. Please do not open any blister-packs unless you intend to keep the item. Should you wish to return a product, it must be in the original undamaged packaging.
Where you have failed to take reasonable care of the goods, whether whilst in your possession or when returning them, we reserve the right to deduct from the total any amounts due by way of compensation to either repair the goods or to cover any loss.
Any items that need to be replaced must be returned to us first before a replacement can be issued.
Customers who use the Royal Mail Collection Service do so at their own cost.
Items delivered or transferred to locations outside of the Mainland UK - we are unable to collect or send warranty replacement items to these locations (including Northern Ireland, Channels Islands). If you require warranty replacement parts you must return the defective item to us at your cost first, and carriage will be payable for the replacement item should it be warranty (or the cost of the item if it is not).
Delivery Charge Refunds
Mower Magic's original outgoing delivery charges will only be refunded if you cancel and return your order with us within seven working days after the day of receipt of your goods. Otherwise delivery charges will only be refundable in the case of faulty or damaged goods, or where the incorrect product has been received.
Any delivery costs incurred by the customer to return any unwanted products are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns of small items by Post
Please return any unwanted items within 14 days from the day your parcel arrives, for a refund via the original payment method. Special order items are non-returnable (see below).
If you return your purchase after this 14 day period but within 28 days, we will issue you with a Mower Magic eVoucher to the value of the item excluding original postage costs.
With the exception of faulty or damaged goods, if you return your purchase by post or courier after the 28 day period, we reserve the right to not offer a refund. Your item may instead be returned to you and prior to sending you will charged you the re-delivery fee that is applicable to the product purchased and the location to which your returns will be delivered.
Larger items including machines that require courier collection
If you wish to return a larger item including machinery that will require a courier collection, a collection charge of £30 may be applicable. The item must be unused, unopened, and be in its original packaging, complete with all included accessories. This does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty or damaged items. We are unable to offer any courier collection service to orders outside of the mainland UK.
International policy
Please note: if you make a purchase (or return your purchase to us) from outside the UK, this is done so at your own risk. We will not accept any responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit. It is your responsibility to pay any delivery charges, duties and taxes incurred. We are unable to offer any courier collection service to orders outside of mainland UK.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we have received the returned product(s) and if appropriate, any packaging, a refund will be credited to the original payment method or card. Please note that it may take up to 21 days for your bank to credit your account. We are not liable, and cannot take responsibility for any bank charges that you may incur during the refund process.
Force Majeure
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events, circumstances or causes outside of our control.
If an event outside our control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under this Contract i) we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you and ii) our obligations under the Contract will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the event outside our control. Where the event outside our control affects the delivery or collection of products to you, we will arrange a new delivery date with you after the event outside our control is over.
You may cancel a Contract affected by an event outside our control which has continued for more than 30 days. To cancel a Contract in these circumstances, please contact us. If you opt to cancel, you will have to return (at your cost) any relevant products you have already received and we will refund the price you have paid.
Contract
We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason. We only accept an order once due diligence and security checks are done and we are in a position to deliver the goods. When purchasing from us, the processing of a payment and acknowledgement of an order does not constitute a legally binding contract. We reserve the right to advise customers of any pricing, specification or supply issues before completing the order.
Out of pocket expenses
Mower Magic Ltd will not be held responsible or liable for any costs, expenses or losses of any kind whatsoever that are said to have been incurred due to lateness of delivery, non-delivery, probletmatic delivery, damage to property caused by third-party delivery companies, failure of machines or failure of parts. Examples of this are, but not limited to, hire of other machines to complete jobs, purchase of alternate machines or parts from us or other agents, hire of persons to complete jobs.
Pre-Orders
Some of our products may be listed as available for Pre-Order. This means that stock is likely to be in short supply, and that we expect demand to be higher than the amount of stock can cater for. For this reason we allow customers to pre-order one in advance to guarantee the sale. All Pre-Orders are paid in full at the time of placing the order. We do not reserve stock without receiving payment. As soon as we receive stock into the warehouse (or suppliers warehouse) the item will be shipped to you without delay.
Split Orders
Sometimes items may be out of stock, or non-stocked items take a while to come through from manufacturers. We aim to send all items on an order in one go, thus avoiding extra postage costs.
When orders contain multiple lines and one or more items is not available, we will only split the order and send the available items at no extra cost after 28 days has elapsed. If the customer requires a split and send before 28 days have elapsed, an additional postage charge will apply.

Most but not all orders of £75.00 or more are delivered FREE of charge to UK Mainland addresses. Some items are exempt from this offer. On some items we strongly recommend a pallet delivery as a courier delivery is not possible (for example large Hayter mowers can be collected or delivered on pallet at extra cost). We will endeavour to highlight these items on the product page whenever possible but reserve the right to notify you of this later.
Some geographical restrictions apply and we are unable to offer free delivery to the Northern Scottland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and off-shore UK addresses. For a full list of restricted addresses and delivery prices, please view the delivery table below. Full carriage charges are calculated during the checkout.
Carriage charges will apply for all orders under £75.00, and all Special Order Parts of any value, regardless of country. Any special order items or items stated as such will be charged carriage and will be quoted for during the checkout or at time of purchase. Carriage is payable on all Aspen orders.
Please note: Nearly all of the items we sell unless specified will come boxed and will require some assembly. For example, on lawnmowers you will be required to put the handles on and clip the grassbox together. Basic tools such as an adjustable spanner or screwdriver may be required.
NOTE: International Orders: may take considerably longer and are often not trackable depending on the country and service used. Please note we will dispatch international orders but are unable to subsequently make them get to you any faster. If you are an international customer outside of UK you must allow plently of time for your order to be delivered. We take no liability for wrongly ordered items (see below).
Safety First - Always Read The Manual
You should always read the manual before use. If you do not have a manual you should request one and not use the machine until you have it and have read the operating instructions.
Children, or any persons who have not read the operating instructions, should not be allowed to use machinery.
Use of all machinery is at the operators risk. Mower Magic Ltd take no responsibility whatsoever for accidents arising from use of machinery.
Packaging
Where possible we aim to reuse packaging that our suppliers send us, so your order may arrive in a box branded with another company on it. No matter what box we use, we will always make it's packed securely so it arrives as you'd expect.
Please retain all packaging materials until you are happy that the product is correct, undamaged and fully working. For products delivered on pallets, please retain the pallet until you are certain the product is correct, undamaged and fully working. For any collections of products that were originally sent on a pallet, the product will need to be re-palletised by the customer before a collection can take place.
Warranty
The products selected for sale are built to the highest standards of quality and performance and our warranty policy is a statement of confidence.
Warranty and After Sales Support
The manufacturer of each product provides warranty on its products against defects in materials and workmanship. The products have been manufactured to the highest quality standards and are guaranteed for domestic use against faulty parts or manufacture.
Warranty covers all parts and labour undertaken on your machine covered by this policy. This is conditional upon the repairs being carried out by an approved service dealer.
On all products, delivery and collection of the machine is the owner’s responsibility and not covered by this policy.
Many brands we sell have a network of service agents. To assess your claim or problem, you will be directed to your nearest service agent. We will not collect any machine for assessment of warranty claims until we have tried at least three service agents first.
Warranty Periods
The warranty period starts from the date of purchase by the consumer.
Warranty periods are those effective at the time of purchase and published in literature and on our website. Warranties are conditional on the product being used domestically and being serviced at the recommended intervals.
For products used commercially (i.e. for hire or by contractors, local councils, caravan sites, water authorities, or any similar use where the machine is employed for financial gain or is instrumental in being employed on properties being used for financial gain) the warranty period will be stated on the product, otherwise 30 days.
Batteries and battery chargers on all products carry a 12 months warranty, except for the 24V, 48V and 80V Lithium-Ion products that carry a 2-year warranty.
Should a product be replaced under warranty, the warranty period will remain effective from the original date of purchase.
Exclusions
The Warranty will NOT cover the following:
* Consumable items, e.g. tyres, belts and blades (unless accompanied by evidence, satisfactory of mechanical failure).
* Spare Parts
* Second-hand goods.
* Defects which, in the opinion of us are in any way, or to any extent, attributed to:
-- ordinary wear and tear;
-- misuse / accidental damage;
* Failure to carry out the handling and operating instructions set out in the Owner’s Instruction Manual;
* Lack of reasonable care;
* The fitting of parts, replacements or extra components which are not supplied or approved by the manufacturer;
* Contaminated/stale fuel.
* Products currently stored outside of the United Kingdom.
* Periodic maintenance services instructed by the operator’s manual, or service parts replacement which would include oil, filters, batteries, brake linings, fabric grass bags, fuses and other service parts unless it can be proven that the item has evidence of faulty manufacture. These items can fail due to normal wear, or through lack of maintenance.
Servicing and Warranty
Some qualifying lawnmowers will carry a 3-year or 5-year conditional warranty from the date of purchase when used domestically. This warranty is not transferable.
To maintain your warranty your machine must be serviced by an authorised service centre.
To maintain a 3 or 5 year warranty the machine must be serviced before the end of the 2nd year of ownership and annually thereafter. Evidence of servicing will need to be produced when making a claim. Failure to keep the machine serviced at these intervals will result in the warranty reverting to a standard 2 year period.
Please be aware that when using your machine in certain conditions it will require additional servicing or maintenance as recommended in your user manual.
These conditions include, but are not limited to:
wet weather
dry and dusty conditions
high temperatures
daily use of the machine.
Spare Parts
Please note that spare part purchases are excluded from this warranty policy.
We may use discretion, in exceptional circumstances to replace a part that is deemed faulty, subsequent to fitting by an authorised service dealer.
Mower Magic Ltd. will under no circumstances be liable for special incidental or consequential damages if they are due to any misuse or improper use of the products.
Mower Magic Ltd.’s obligations under this warranty are to repair or replace any faulty products meeting the above terms. The decision between repair or replacement will be entirely at Mower Magic Ltd.’s discretion.
Warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights.
